The popularity of Stockport Exchange continues to grow as Cafelito, the exciting local coffee shop, is set to open their newest store at Stockport Exchange.

Serving freshly brewed coffee and a tempting range of mouth-watering food, Cafelito will be a welcome addition to Stockport Exchange, offering commuters and visitors the chance to get their daily fix of java as they arrive in Stockport.

Cafelito is a great local success story. Since opening their first store two years ago in St Peter’s Square, Stockport, business has grown so quickly that the in demand baristas can now open their third store at Stockport Exchange.

This great news comes as negotiations on the offices at Stockport Exchange are nearing completion and only three months after the opening of the 115 bedroom Holiday Inn Express hotel and Sainsbury’s Local store.

Working in partnership, Muse Developments and Stockport Council have delivered the stunning transformation at Stockport Exchange, as part of the £1 billion Investing in Stockport work which is underway locally.  As work continues, real change and new opportunities are being brought to many parts of our town.

Johann Joubert from Cafelito said: “We at Cafelito are really excited about our new store and to be part of this amazing development. We look forward to serving our great tasting coffee from Stockport Exchange when we open in a couple of months.”

Councillor Kate Butler, Stockport Council’s Executive Member for Economy and Regeneration commented:  “This is fantastic news and I’m thrilled Cafelito are going to open their latest store at Stockport Exchange.  There were a lot of companies interested in this unit, however to have a local company growing and moving in is fantastic and shows just how great a business location Stockport is.

“On an almost weekly basis we hear of companies deciding to move to Stockport; new jobs being created as businesses grow and award successes across the borough.  This is such an exciting time for Stockport.”

Wes Erlam, Development Director at Muse Developments, said: “Stockport Exchange has already transformed the physical environment around Stockport train station and it’s great news that Cafelito will now be bringing a new coffee shop to the scheme, adding to the amenities already offered by Holiday Inn Express and Sainsbury’s and further bringing the area to life. We look forward to making a further announcement regarding the office lettings soon.”
